On November 27, 2014, at the premises of Faculty of Economics, University of Kragujevac, the third international scientific conference Contemporary Issues in Economics, Business, and Management (EBM 2014) was held. The conference consisted of four parallel sessions with the following research topics:
1) Key Issues in Management and Marketing;
2) Globalization and Regionalization;
3) Applied Informatics and Quantitative Methods in Economics and Management; and
4) Accounting and Business Finance.
The 62 abstracts were received, out of which 53 papers were accepted after the anonymous peer review process. The authors of 33 papers were scientific workers from Serbia, while 20 papers were submitted by distinguished professors and researchers from Poland, Italy, Canada, Slovakia, Ukraine, Montenegro, and Republic of Srpska. It is important to note that 16 accepted papers were submitted by professors and researchers from the Faculty of Economics Kragujevac.
The keynote speakers were prof. dr Nebojša Janićijević (Faculty of Economics, Belgrade), prof. dr Czeslav Mesjasz (Cracow University of Economics), and prof. dr Pawel Lula (Cracow University of Economics).
When we analyze the different sessions, the majority of submitted papers were discussed in the Key Issues in Management and Marketing (22 papers in total). There were 10 papers in the Globalization and Regionalization session, 13 papers were discussed in the Applied Informatics session, while 8 papers were sent to the session of Accounting and Business Finance.
